The Grand Musée du Parfum opened its doors at 73 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris on December 22, 2016. Visiting it is a unique experience that combines learning, fun activities and immersion in order to understand the universe of fragrance and its secrets.
The museum takes people on an interactive journey with innovative backdrops. The latest technologies are used (video, olfactory devices, etc.) to explain the three major phases in the history of perfume, from the Egypt of the pharaohs through to modern times. Its unique olfactory collection includes more than 70 scents that are enjoyed throughout the visit.
Scentys supported this major project by contributing its technical diffusion expertise. Our capsules and dry diffusion technology allow visitors to discover fragrances in a totally new and innovative way.
The museum appeals to everyone, regardless of their level of interest in perfume, as it seeks to share our intangible heritage. We encourage you to go explore the museum’s fragrances and tell us what you think.

A work installed at the Saint-Lazare train station in Paris until February 14, 2017 provides a taste of what one will find at the Grand Musée du Parfum. Don’t worry if you miss it – the work will be on display at two other Parisian train stations throughout 2017.
